“ I have no idea what the complaints about the food are all about. If you’re choosing to make a reservation in a 5 star hotel, you shouldn’t be shocked if it’s expensive. We started with the appetizer sampler. I didn’t love the hummus, but my wife enjoyed it. I think the eggplant and feta was my favorite dip. We wanted extra pita, which was an extra 5, fine. After we had the burger. Delicious. I didn’t love the fries, but my wife did. Including drinks the total was under 200. ”

“ The Edition is a very upscale hotel, and restaurant social scene in Tampa. The atmosphere is definitely luxurious. The Azure is located at the upper level of the hotel. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and poolside seating. I prefer inside or balcony area as the pool can sometimes be distracting during the daytime. ”

“ I celebrated a birthday with my girlfriends at AZURE back in December and we had a lovely evening at The Edition that night. This is one of the newer and pricier restaurants on the beautiful Water Street close to DT Tampa. The ambiance, service, and food were very-very good, so it's worth it. Their unbelievably gorgeous roof top / pool area is full of stunning flowers / greenery and has breathtaking views of Tampa Bay. The majority of items on the menu consist of Mediterranean things, which I love. Tuna Tartare and Grilled Octopus were delicious, but the Baby Kale & Gem Caesar was definitely worthy of Michelin-star (created by their chef John Fraser). Everyone loves a good Caesar salad but these mini, personal-sized leaves make a lovely presentation. My Lemon Drop sugar-rimmed martini was well-balanced and was made with perfect amount of Kettle One vodka. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't offer anything for birthdays (or at least our waitress did not offer anything to our table), but we opted in for Crispy Dough (Beignets) which had an amazingly yummy rosemary sugar and walnut honey dip - definitely recommend! Service by Kayla was top-notch as she was attentive, accurate with our order and provided a few recommendations to us. This is probably one of the better options on Water Street as The Edition is such an extravagant development that is definitely something to visit while in Tampa. ”
